Can not load saved games

I can play the game and when i auto save or save myself they appear in the save box. But when i attempt to load a saved game it will turn yellow, but will not give me the start option. i've tried numerous naming conventions as well as game save naming convention and auto save at different times in game.

I looked in save folder and have both cfg and eug files. but my cfg file is autosave.eug.cfg and my eug file is autosave.eug. or what ever name i use.

Can not figure out why any saved game will not load.

Select your save, then select which country you will play and then click start.
