For some reason on the mystery setup screen, it`s stuck on Beyond Earth, and The Last War. I can change the option then go back to the menu and it`s as it was, the game always has just Beyond Earth activated when I start playing. Also I can`t really see the point to the rival colonies, maybe they would be better if they where on the same map competing for resources.

oh I see, the checkmarks are just there to tell you which ones you've completed.
Edit: Going back to the new game menu shows which mystery is actually selected.
