Cant load :(

So I have been playing EUII for quite a long time, and then one day, I noticed that the French Monarchs file was messed up. So I re-installed and I found it possible to play the game, but i had to go through loaaaaads of 'Data Mismatchs'. So I tried re-installing and so on a few more times, and now, every time i load EUII, it just freezes on the black screen before the intro. Pleaaaaaaase can you help?

Uninstall the game, and then manually delete the game directory. You can optionally defrag your hard disk at this point, then reinstall EU2 followed by 1.09 immediately. Try it now before installing any mods.
