Have these games, and our launcher, ever worked on this Mac?

When you hit PLAY in Steam, how far does it get? Do you see our launcher but th egames won't start from it, or you never see our launcher?

What happens when you run ck3.app and victoria3.app directly from Finder?

I see the games are installed on a volume called D30 - is that an internal or external drive?

D30 is external SSD and all steam games are installed in that drive.

Launcher opens fine but when click the play button, error window (crash report) shows and games quit.

Please refer to the attached the screenshot.

When run directly from the app files, they ask for the permission to access to the disk and documents folder repeatedly and games don't start.

Thank you.

From what you say, it's probably a file access/permissions issue in MacOS. Go to System Preferences > Security & Privacy. Then select the Privacy tab. Scroll down to files and folder in the left column. You’ll see a list of apps and the folders they need access to. Check the box to give access.
You should also check the Full Disk Access tab there.

I've done that too many times already. Still the same. Keep clicking allow button for hundred times, but won't process further.

I guess that shows we are in the right area. So you have definitely added all those .app files, to both the Privacy and Full Disk Access menus?

And, it would be unusal on a Mac but do you have any antivirus app in operation? You'd need to add the .app files to its exceptions lists too.
