Can't update EU2

I can't update EU2. When I download and install version 1.07 and the right update (Nordic version). My current version is 1.02. I bought the game in July. When I update, reboot and start playing (choosing campaign) the game crashes to the desktop (No error message, Windows survives). What can I do?

My computer configuration

Athlon XP 2400
Matrox Millenium G550
Windows 98 SE, Diract X 9.0b

What scenario did you try to start?

I have tryed all scenarios.

Try changing the name of the folder called AVI in the EU2 directory to something else, anything will do. This could help... but it's strange that you didn't have any problems before.

Look at the sticky thread named "Self help Guide"
Notice that "1. Uninstall" is a hot link, follow that link and unistall EU2.

Then do a fresh install from CD, then install patch 1.07.

I have tryed fresh install, crash again.

I chanche avi folder name, and it works now!
