I got finally control over the federation fleet after a very long time (no longer switching every x years?) and noticed it uses very old designs I made. I tried to update with auto update and manually but I can't save the design and it does not show any error or hint why I can't save it.

Xbox 2.0.0.2 with all dlc.

for normal ships If you have any corvette class ships currently queued for upgrade it will not allow you to alter or create a new corvette class design until the upgrades have finished, this might be same for federation ships as well.
