when trying to make a paper storage by using a forestry storage in plopables, the only drop-down option is timber or wood. paper does not appear.
Forestry storage does not store paper. Forestry storage stores only timber or wood, as you found. You need a regular industrial warehouse building to store paper.

in discord Cities: Skylines Modding could you add your mods so that people can ask questions. I notice you are already a member of this discord. discord channel could be made by adding to pdxm-mods-published which is in the section paradox mods.
 
i think if it's in the same or percent change roll for different industry it should be a buyout and only sometimes fire all the workers. maybe 90% of the time if same industry it keeps all or most employees, and the more different the industries the less likely to keep employees.

it would also be cool if instead of abandoning buildings and they 100% of the time demoing and rebuilding a new building, this mod could redo the logic of that situation for it to be abandoned, but then restored with the same building shape with a new business, and then do a 10% roll on if it'll demo and rebuild from scratch.
 
ok I changed my mind, it thought it was a great idea.. but,now we need a mod to stop shops from changing company to something else after a few minutes
for now you could increase Taxes a LOT of the ones you want to lower the chance of getting the building, if you make Food industrial tax 13%, a food building will be less likely to be made over something with only a tax of 6%.
 
I'm using Washi's Beach Assets mod (adds two beach commercial zones).
- Change company works on ones made with "Beachstyle Commercial Low zone"
- but does not work on companies made with the W7BEACHSPAWNER icon.

Release Version 1.1.0:
- Allow change company on signature buildings, still subject to other restrictions.
- Allow for mixed residential other than commercial, available only thru mods.
- The company dropdown defaults to the current company, if any.

Thanks for the suggestions. This mod was never intended to implement a "realistic" change of the company. Just to get it done so the player can have the company they want.

After testing with the Beach assets, I believe you are experiencing a property restriction of the asset. If the property allows only one resource to be sold, then the Change Company section is not displayed because Change Company allows selling only resources allowed by the property. That particular property allows only Textiles to be sold.
