Hi,

As subject states, when I go ahead and change (ie. correct :D ) province and/or city names in the province.csv DB file, will that get me into trouble when I start an MP game with someone that hasn't made the same changes?

Currently, I have corrected the spelling of several provinces in America, to get them in line with what is actually printed on the map.

It drove me nuts when an event referred to a city name, and I had to search with a magnifying glass to find it on the map.

Some of them were just typo's, I guess, such as:

Yatumal on the map, Yarumal in the DB file.
Montana on the map, Monta¤a in the DB file

I haven't changed anything else, just the spelling of some city and province names.

I believe everyone's files in MP must match. Someone else should be able to confirm or deny this.
