I'm playing Venice and I have about four armies named "Mantua Regiment". This is getting kind of annoying and I was wondering if there was any way to change the name of your armies/navies.

We have updated our Community Code of Conduct. Please read through the new rules for the forum that are an integral part of Paradox Interactive’s User Agreement.
I think these names are related to provinces you control (except historical names (?) in DB folder--armynames.csv). As Brandenburg, I have now Silesia Army, Hannover Army, Ansbach army, all provinces I conquered. It occurs when you are creating a new army.
You can change the names in your savegame file.

I've done it before but I don't remember how.
Just fiddle with the split and reorganize buttons
and I think it will change their name to whatever
province the are in.

That's cool if you wanna have customized names,
but if your just sick of having the Mekong Squadron
docked at Kent, you can fix it in game.
