Cheating in MP again?

the game i am talking about is only between a friend and me.. using direct ip.. but is it only the host who can cheat?? as far as ive have seen u have to use the f12 button.. how about making that a "command" so if the screen pops up because someone is pressing it everybody can see it..

Now, if this works..... then the KISS principle has been fulfilled -- but what if they save the game, fiddle with it whilst you are not online and then restart for the next session???

Just offering help here - I am playing MP with a local group - I don't think anyone in our group is cheating, they want to win on their own merits...

You don't need to be the host to cheat. You just have to alter some HoI2 files.

so he can cheat by using the f12 button no matter who the host is?? i dont think he cheats by any other way than buffering up his resources to max.. then handing it out to all of his allies.. .. its sad.. its a computer game. he doesnt know i know it yet. hmm..
