One line summary of your issue
3.0.1.1 ONDO game crashes when loading graphics

Game Version
3.0.1.1 ONDO

What expansions do you have installed?
All of the above

Do you have mods enabled?
No

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
During the "loading graphics", the game crashes.

Tried reinstalling (clean reinstall, deleted all folders and made sure there was nothing left), uninstalled MSI Gaming app (as I heard it could interfere), restarted both PC and Steam and validated files in Steam. Nothing works

The game starts fine if I roll back to version 2.8.3.4, so it must be something in the latest patch that does it.

Steps to reproduce the issue.

Update: I tried adding -the entire- CK2 folders both in Documents and steam\steamapps to my Anti-virus, but it still didn't work. If I disable my antivirus, I can start the game.

I have exactly the same problem!

..and the fix seems to be the same as with 3.0 earlier to disable the antivirus for a first start, as Elchin stated above
and by several threads i read here and on Steam.
I don't have the problem as my CK2 documents are not in Documents.
Apparently a modified exe gets seen as a new program by the AVs now or so..

If you use Windows defender and Win10, then you have to activate some feature i forgot the name of and add the Documents folder or so.
Ask tech support.

Not a game bug, so moved.
