Please explain the issue you experienced in the most condensed way possible
The "A" Key used to move the map to the left stops working every few minutes. Rotating the map (with right click) fixes it but it's still annoying since it happens quite often. Doesn't seem to happen with the other directions, might have happened with "D" too once but I'm not sure.

Please explain how to reproduce the issue
I haven't been able to find a pattern so far. I don't think something specific needs to happen, since it seems kind of random.

Is there anything else you think could help us identify/replicate the issue?
I can't think of anything except that I'm 99% sure it always happens while moving around the map but not while pressing the specific key. So if I'm going left it doesn't just stop working while scrolling but will often when I change direction.
I attached a savegame because apparently I have to, but it is not really relevant to the issue.

Thank you for submitting your report. As it seems bit tougher to pinpoint, I'd advise
1 - Reinstalling the game
2 - Update your Drivers
3 - Updating your Windows.

Please let me know if problem persists after those steps.

Thanks for the reply but none of that makes any difference. Windows and Drivers are up-to-date and reinstalling the game didn't change anything.
I payed some attention to the bug and it seems like it often happens when an event pops up, but I don't think it's limited to that.
I'm a bit surprised that no one else seems to have this problem. I can't think of anything on my end that would cause it.

I've had this problem since launch as well. Just the A key, Esc-ing to game menu fixes it.

A way to reproduce the "swallow the A key" issue:

Start as a Norse in 867
Go to decisions, select "Secure the High Kingdom of the North Sea".
When the description pops up, WASD is working as expected.
Now click on "North Sea Heartlands" in the "You completely control the North Sea Heartlands" step, and it pops up a border around the areas you need to control. Now the A key doesn't work anymore.

Click it away, and all is well again.

Sorry if this was information you already had (since it is tagged with "Confirmed"), but I wasn't sure if you had information about how to reproduce it.
