Please explain the issue you experienced in the most condensed way possible
After launching the game through steam, and pressing play on the Pdox launcher, the game begins to initialize and crashes soon after, maybe within 5 seconds and two art screens.

Please explain how to reproduce the issue
Download the patch and Royal Court on steam and then press play on the launcher. No mods.

Is there anything else you think could help us identify/replicate the issue?

A quick update: per a suggestion by Scanz on this other thread, I deleted the music files under "\game\dlc\dlc004_ep1\music" and the game starts normally. I was able to play a year to verify.

I'd like to report that I had the same issue after reverting back to 1.4.4 and this fix helped me to launch the game successfully as well. Will see it it plays normally or bugs out along the way.
