No How much "pain" is this causing you? 10 Please explain the issue you experienced in the most condensed way possible My ironman save, which was created on June 2nd, mysteriously disappeared when I went to load the game yesterday. There was no evidence that the save had ever existed in: - CK3's local save folder (for me this is C:\Users\kiirani\OneDrive\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings III\save games) - CK3's remote save folder (for me this is D:\Steam\userdata\118611698\1158310\remote\save games) - Steam's own list of steamcloud saves, at https://store.steampowered.com/account/remotestorageapp?appid=1158310&index=0 While investigating I discovered that I was very close to my steam cloud limit for CK3, further investigation led me to steam's cloud log, which indicates that the save was deleted. I have successfully reproduced this today with a new ironman save, I have not attempted to reproduce with a non-ironman save. Please explain how to reproduce the issue - start a steam cloud ironman save (when reproducing this I created ivaring_867_ironman.ck3) - confirm that the save exists in the steam cloud save directory (for me this is D:\Steam\userdata\118611698\1158310\remote\save games) - be close to your steam cloud limit (to reproduce this I created copies of older saves until I was ~200kb from the limit) - load and play the ironman save created earlier - play until CK3 deletes the save file from the steam cloud folder this happens when the save file has grown enough to exceed your steam cloud limit - note that there are no errors given at any point while playing - exit CK3, note that the game tells you that your game will be saved. It will not be saved. Is there anything else you think could help us identify/replicate the issue? I've attached a zip file with CK3's logs from the reproduction run, and a copy of steam's cloud_log.txt covering the past week, so it actually includes the sync that deleted my real save :( After the save has been deleted, but BEFORE exiting the game, remotecache.vdf has an entry for the missing savegame. "save games/ivaring_867_ironman.ck3" { "root" "0" "size" "1" "localtime" "1654607164" "time" "1654607164" "remotetime" "1654596738" "sha" "5ba93c9db0cff93f52b521d7420e43f6eda2784f" "syncstate" "3" "persiststate" "2" "platformstosync2" "-1" } After exiting the game, once steam cloud has synced, this entry is no longer in the file. When I reproduced this I loaded the game at approximately 23:02, and noticed that the save had disappeared from the folder (open on my other screen) at 23:06. What I can glean from the logs (excerpts below) is that save started failing at around 23:05, but CK3 continued to play normally. Each time it attempted (and failed) to save, it would update the entry for the save in remotecache.vdf. After exiting the game, steam cloud noticed that that save file listed in remotecache.vdf is not present on disk, and concluded that it had been deleted.
