I just hope the developpers are aware the game should be gold by now :D

Seriously though, SF site mention "TBD" as a release date ;) and since the beta hasn't even started yet, I think it's safe to assume they goofed on this one... unless Sergei is hiding something from us? ;)

that's good news!;)
I wonder if they told that to the developers though....

i can surely sell a half-baked beta to anybody willing next week :)

however we do it old-style here in terms of releases, i.e. we keep the bugs out of the package and normally finish what we sarted. so it will take more time.

You can sell a beta next week?

This must mean that you have reached the beta-version.....:D

There you go again, bucking tradition! You'd better stop it before you set a trend and all the game companies release games without bugs. How will programmer keep their jobs? What will publishers do if they don't have to supply patch downloads? You are trying to wreck the gaming industry!!:D

I did, incidentally, see a release date for CK. It may have been on the EB site, I can't remember, but some place is listing it for release in March or April.

Judging from the status reports this sounds much more reasonable.:)

come on, we are in that 'sleeves rolled, eyes shining, budget's almost over' stage that is the most productive :D if you need it, we'll leave some bugs for you, small-town usual suspects so that you will be still lured to download a patch or two, but don't expect anything big and nasty -- noth this time, we're still learning the general trend :) :) :)

BEst phase of game is beta when watching all that strange bugs, I'm sure someone will find bug 'my male heir marries a male and both have a son' :D

I thought the "most productive time" was about 2 or 3 weeks before gold, when that deadline is staring down at you as you work feverishly to get the game finished :D

Right now you're in the "nah, we have lots of time" phase, and you can still decide to nip out of the office for beers after work :)

If there are no bugs then we won't get to beta test it!!!!

(But then again, if there are no bugs it might be in stores by Nov. 5th):)

It could always be a trick to attract gay players. :D
Though, seeing there would only be males, the family would die pretty soon. :D
