i know its a longshot but is there any way to modify the shadow kingdom event to happen in another area instead of italy?
Why would it be a longshot? Aside for it having nothing to do with converters as we don't edit any events?
Go find the event in question and relevant Imperial Incident and simply replace italy with whatever you need. All the files are in vanilla eu4 installation so copy over to the mod what you need and edit at will.

Does anyone know what this means? Program gets stuck at 100% after this screen.

It probably doesn't have permission to write to your mod folder or update your playlists. Try manually copying the mod from the converter's output folder to your mod folder and just creating a new playlist from the EU4 launcher.

Hello, what determines the government reforms for the mod countries? I'm curious to know if when I convert my game at an earlier or later date will affect which reforms my chosen country will have available in EU4.

Largely hardcoded, aside for the specifics in government_map.txt. Once (if) CK3 supports actual government forms like CK2 did, we'll make it more accessible and the rules more coherent. Until then, edit the mod to suit your needs.

You may be downloading an obsolete installer. Download from the first post or from our github directly.

In forming Isbaniyah, it seems that the converter gave me the Ottoman government type and thus this decadency issue. I am unable to get past this level of tech because of it, where the threshold is just out of reach because of the decadency. I have posted about it at length on on this thread, linked here: https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/foru...nts-and-behind-in-tech.1588813/#post-28985646
Thank you for the report. I've disabled ottoman_government for now. Please update the converter and retry (or just use console/notepad++ to fix your existing save by switching to any other tier1-reform).

I updated and ran the converter again, but now Isbaniya is renamed Spain and certain other countries are named things like 60Z.

Haven’t been able to get notepad++ to show legible code, but I know it’s possible lol

If you reconverted - and overwritten the old mod - you will have to restart the game using the new mod. Can't mix and match conversion mods with saves.

Hello! The converter is having troubles with my custom faith icon, if my reading of the issue was correct. Any way to fix this?
Thank you for the report. i've pushed a patch that should fix this issue, please update the converter and retry.
If it still isn't fixed, upload that ck3 save here and I'll see what I can do.

Hey guys,

I am not sure if it belongs here, but I have a bit of an issue after the conversion. In CK3, I was basically the strongest nation in Europe, but after conversion to EU4 I suck pretty much in everything.. Even tho I still have the highest develpoment in the game (2200, second biggest is 1800). Is it some sort of bug? Can I fix it somehow?

Hello! I've installed the most recent converter and I'm having trouble at the tail end of the conversion process, something to do with religious icons.
Update the converter and retry.

It's not a bug. Features of CK3 - like religious, cultural, dynastic bonuses you keep piling on have no EU4 counterpart. Same thing will happen on Victoria conversion because of all the bloat EU4 will throw at you. Concepts of "strongest nation" are fluid.

Got it, thats why I used "basically". It confused me, since I already played couple of grand campaings and after every conversion I was always more or less able to keep my position in the world. This is my first conversion where I became laughably weak in comparison with previous game.

For example with the force limit - isnt it calculated mostly from the province development? Since I have the highest in the game, I should have also one of the highest force limits, right? But for some reason I sit with 40 force limit somewhere in the bottom over there. Thats what confuses me for example.
