CK ships in Fall. Forum for English speaking beta testers opens up!:cool:

Wait a sec here...They will first ship CK and then open a forum for the beta testers?Doesnt that sound a bit reversed?

That's not what they say. They'll open a developer forum/site after the release. No mention of beta there...
 
right now i seriouly doubt any kind of beta at all

first of all the date speculations cant be too far off and second of all they already has been extensive beta testing by snowball so ther wouldnt be much piont to having another one
 
3 games shipping in the fall? That's a bit much...

I have to disagree with you....

What basis is there for saying the dates "can't be too far off"? They are basically guesses by the online retailers, nothing more. I wouldn't really put too much faith in them if I were you, since its only little more than a month away now, and Snowball is still working on developing the game.

Has there been extensive beta testing? I haven't seen any evidence of that here. Maybe Sergei mentions testing this feature or that in the developer's diary, but that hardly qualifies as extensive beta testing. Also, I believe that it's been stated by Johan or Patric (not sure which ;) ) that Paradox is going to run the beta testing for CK, so that would kind of require there to be a beta, in order for them to run it. ;)
