Colonise Valyria Question

hey guys, So i was playing the game as a younger Targaryen child (ie the one who doesn't get the iron throne) but i managed marry myself into power in Essos (specifically in elyria) I then managed to slowly colonise the entire Valyrian peninsula and recreate the kingdom and eventually i managed to restore the priesthood and create the empire through the event. Now i am a super powerful targaryen Doge leader of the freehold of old valyria, but the person who will inherit my title isn't my son its the son of the king of the iron throne(my nephew) even though i made my son designated heir and prince. SO is there anyways for my son to become the next Doge.

Also is the triarch system in place for the freehold and is there anything to do after recreating the freehold? (maybe imperial reconquest style stuff?)

If it's a Republic it would use Seniority Succession.

Only the Northern part.The rest is sadly (and understandable) a waste that is uncolonizable.So no new valyria

I actually found the sub-mod that allows you to colonize the Valyrian peninsula and "reform" the old Valyrian religion. Much fun.
