1)Has anyone tested adding one, some, many countries to the list of colonial powers? (Y-axis additions, columns)

2)Has anyone tested adding one, some, many new dates to the list of dates for colonists? (X-axis additions, rows)

1) Answer seems to be. one and only one more column will be used by the EU engine, but you can add as many as you want. The rest are ignored.

2) New columns can be added but I suspect that the dates are hardcoded internally in EU.

The final answer seems to be you can add only one name to the list and cant change anything else. *sigh* was hoping for more.

I changed Oman's colonial dynamism by just having 100,200,300 or whatever, as suggested before, where 100=100% chance for one colonist per year. Still haven't found out if you can take maps with other using Oman though... Still looking for answers on that one.

I get my numbers with one exception. No matter what number I fill in for Holland between 1560 and 1615 they ALWAYS get 2 colonists a year from dynamism. 0,1,2,5,10,20,100,whatever, they get 2 :D

Not exactly sure what you meant, but I think you are asking about trading maps as Oman? If so, you should try paying someone like persia/mameluks enough cash to get a +1 or better diplo number then just keep trying to trade until they say yes. I played a nubian and ethiopian game and was eventually able to get maps, but it cost some time/cash and alot of attempted trades before getting a yes. You have better chances if you know at least 1/3 as many provinces as they do and better chances with 50% or better.

Not sure I saw this problem while testing, but was not really looking for anything like this.

Was mainly using 100/200/etc... numbers but when I did try using 25,50,75 I was still getting 1col/year. So not sure what's up with that.
