I don't reckon a single prisoner needs 2 beds in his cell, but the comfy bed doesn't count as a bed for a cell.

We have updated our Community Code of Conduct. Please read through the new rules for the forum that are an integral part of Paradox Interactive’s User Agreement.
It does for me - maybe they aren’t installed yet? If it appears translucent, then workmen haven’t added the bed to the cell yet and that’s why the cell is incomplete. Check the room requirements for a cell; see if it allows a comfy bed.
They were installed. The room requirements read as "bed", which is the name of the green bed.
I'm having exactly the same issue. It's not recognising the comfy bed as a bed. I swapped mine out in my padded cells (cause they deserve a little extra!) and all my rooms became incomplete as no bed in place.

if you double click the item to pick it up and then place it back down, the cell will register it then
