Configuration update message

Periodically, I get the message when I boot that setup is updating my configuration. Normally, you only get this message when you install some new software, but ever since installing EU, I get it periodically. Someone must have posted this before, but.. What the Heck is happening to my configuration? It doesn't seem like ANYTHING is changing, though.

That message has nothing to do with EU. It must be something else. I had a similar problem before on my WinME box. It was downloading updates from MS by itself and I had to shut it down. Don't remember where I did that though.
