Connection error...

Hi.
I like to play HoI2 in multiplayer, but after about 1-30 minutes of playing I get "Connection error; connection lost" and I has to reboot the computor to reget the connection to Internet and the network again.
I have tride to both change router and network card, without any success.
I don´t face this problem otherwise.
I´m using Win XP Pro SP 2, all of the lastes updates to all dirvers and version 1.3b of HoI 2.
Grateful for answer.

No, the game is not paused when I get thise error. And it is not the host who get's the error.

Are you able to play any other games in MP? What is your network topology and what other elements are in your LAN except your computer? Is your computer virus/malware free? Aren't you using any software/background service(s), which may cause interference? Anything irregular I mean. And finally, what is your credit card number?

Paradox is doing great job forwarding all MP related questions to this subforum. Apart from that...we all know.

I should try other MP games soon.
The computor is virus free, scanned with F-Secure 2006. No background services expect Windows and F-Secure (firewall), and I'm useing the same on 2 other computors and don't expect the same problems there.
I have a Netgear router (FWG114P), and I have tride 3 diffrent networkcards, without success.
And my credit card, yes you may take all my money from it, since I don't have any credit card

Let us know whether you experience same problems with other games once you try them.

For now I'm clueless. Maybe if you can make some dump from your firewall, we could have come to some solution.

Right now it works fine again (played 4 hours yesterday without any problems), but if I face the problem once again, I will try with that.

Nice to hear that. Did you make any changes to your system/network configuration?

Yes, I replaced the networkcard (once again!) and restarted the router. It was presumably reseting the router witch helped.
