I do not have function keys on my new laptop. How do I open the console?

None at all?? ... not even a little 'Fn' key at the bottom, and then the F-keys in blue above the numeric keys? ... I never heard of a computer with no function keys at all.

As far as I know you can't access the console without F12.

o I was tired/confused. Yes, I have those.

But, the space key doesn't pause the game. Is there another key combination for that?

No, I don't have a puase/break key on the laptop.

I think I'm just going to reiterate what was stated by TempestDK, I haven't heard of a modern computer keyboard without a pause/break key. All modern keyboards should have all the various functional keys, just the alphabet, number and punctuation keys can be different or laid out differently.

In a laptop, it's very possible it's been moved because of space reasons, or that it's also behind a fn-combination and not available directly.
