Over the past two weeks, my previously stable version of Stellaris is now crashing to the desktop on a regular basis.

I have attached a crash log but have no idea how to read the damn thing to identify a cause. I have tried doing new games. It continues there as well.

I have done a full reinstall (including manually removing ALL files from my filesystem) and yet the crash persists.

i am not (and never have) installed any mods and am running the current version with all the DLC.

Most time it occurs is when responding to incoming transmissions (doesn't matter the content, the moment I choose any response other than to ignore, I get the crash)

Would love any guidance that anyone can suggest so I can get back to playing what is arguably my favourite game.

Do you have any save games that reliably show this problem?

If so can you test them on a Windows machine, to see if they get the same problem there?
