i have done this too but for some reason the faith of the seven is strong in my targ blood. any idea what religion is best for the new valyrian empire?

Theres Valyrian faith submod. It will gave you possibility to return to Aegon the Conqueror original religion.

I think there is a decision "Convert to liege's religion" with a prestige hit (if you have a liege, that is)

I'm the Emperor of New Valyria with Daemon (rogue prince) and made my capital Ny Sar after i colonized it. i have only been offered pirate and the Rhoyne religions.

Type "21" with the numpad while holding ALT, then type again "religion <religion you want to convert to>" , for example "religion rhllor" should convert your character to R'hllorism.

I'm actually working on a sub-mod I'll release for the next version which will improve the empire-building process in Essos, you'll be able to chose a government type, religion, capital, etc. that you want your Essosi/Neo Valyrian Empire to have, with special options for Aegon the Conqueror, Daemon the Rogue Prince, and Daemon Blackfyre.
