Corrput ironman file

Hello,

My beloved ironman savegame has become corrupted today, yesterday and day before everything was working fine. Playing on 1.33.3. Is there any way to save it?

You could try over in User Mods (as they are experienced in editing save files), but in general uncorrupting any computer file is like unscrambling an egg!

What I suggest for the future is to make a manual copy of your Ironman save file just before or after each play session, just in case.

It took a while, but @Jarvin and I made an attempt at unscrambling this particular egg.

The attached save loads again in 1.33.3 and I let it run for a few years and it didn't crash and I didn't see any broken countries which are usually a sign of this particular save game corruption(broken foreign_heir sections). I think achievements should still work if they worked before, but I can't test it, because loading a save of another person always disables achievements.

@Brormartin Please try the save in 1.33.3 and let us know if the save works for you and if achievements are still enabled.
