Good Day.
I was interested in knowing whether it is possible to change the sprites that a County's army is using without changing the culture. I have but one simple reason for asking this -- the German Army sprite seems to be a slight bit out of the time period of the game -- it seems to represent a Hunn warrior in the times not long after the fall of the Roman Empire (I might be wrong, if I am, please do correct me).
So, to make a long story short, I wanted to change all German army sprites to Italian. I figured it was possible since the army sprite does not seem to be bound to Culture -- threre are different Nordic cultures with the same sprites, for example.
In order to do so, I opened "Country.csv" and changed every instance of the word "German" to "Italian" (the second string in Country.csv is "CountryArmySprite"(something like that) if you believe the description on top). Oddly enough, nothing happened in the game! The sprites remained the same.
If anyone knows how to do this, please provide assistance, Thank you.
