Crash bug

The game is quite unstable, even with the last 1,09 patch. I am playing as Sweden in the IGC (the improved grand campaign, that is), and around year 1700, the game crashes, always at the same point, always the same month in the game. And that isn't the first time it has crashed, I quit playing the game (for one moment to the other, not entirely), almost always because of crashing, and not very often with help of the quit button... THAT IS SCARING, SO PARADOX, FIX THE CRASH BUGS, ALL OF THEM, IN PATCH 1,10! Then you can start implementing new stuff!

Have you tried playing with the original GC? The IGC is not supported by us as it is a third party scenario. A very good one I have to admit though

I have played both the GC and the IGC and in both cases the game is fairly stable until around 1700. After that it crashes with increasing regularity and by game's end its crashing twice a year. I find that by not clicking on any "history" buttons I can avoid most crashes for the first 200 years. I listed my system specs under "crash bug" on this page but that thread appears to be dead. Noone has added to it since the middle of last week.

The game crashes with the original gc too, as I said before, try to fix the crash bugs with the igc too, because I think the scenario is much better than the original gc, and maybe you should even make the igc official! Talk to the creator and maybe you could help each other to make it fully historically correct, and maybe use the igc as the "normal" gc in EU2 (if EU2 will be like EU1 that is...)

Sorry but we don't have the resources to do that. When it runs without crashes in GC then it should do so with IGC as well unless there are errors in IGC.

If we will do a EU2 I think there will be so many changes that we would not be able to use IGC as is but if, I'm saying if, we would do something like that we would of course talk to Doomie and the others about it.
