Crash on Startup (bought from Gamers Gate)

Hello,
My problem is very similar to the one i have seen circulating from Steam Users. The game will go the Launcher with no problem, then when I click to start the music will play, yet the microsoft error report appears. I am running Windows XP (the newest version). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you read the "Known Issues" Sticky thread above? If your issue is definitely not covered there, please post your dxdiag.txt, settings.txt, system.log and error.log files (you'll need to rename the .log files to .txt to upload). Also open setup.log, search for "checksum", and paste that line only in here.
