Crash to Desktop on patch 3.0

Hi I have started to have a crash to desktop during loading since the release of the new patch. It gets to just about the end of Loading Graphics then CTD's with no explanation. I vaguely recall it used to do this around the time of Raja's of India but a subsequent patch fixed this. If you need any other details, let me know.

Go to Documents/Paradox Interactive/Crusader Kings II. In there, delete the folder called "gfx". Note that this is NOT the /gfx/ folder under Steam/SteamApps/common/CK2 .
Now restart your game, it will recreate that folder and fix the problem.

You also need to add ck2game.exe to the exceptions list/whitelist of your antivirus app.

Obviously disable all mods until they get updated accordingly.

Thank you Andrew, sorry forgot to update this thread to say last night that the problem seems to have been my AV not liking things, I turned it off briefly let Ck2 load once and then turned it back on and it's been fine ever since.
