Crash when starting new game.

I deleted the old save files from the patch 1.02, now when I try to start a new game with the 1.03b version the game crashes, it happens with the tutorial too.

I tried the resolution fix (changing to 640x480) and still doesn't work. I'm playing with steam version.

try a complete clean reinstall. post a dxdiag.

I already tried reinstalling the game, didn't work.

Also I tried reducing screen resolution and disabling water and trees, didn't work either. It seems like I can't start a new game but I can run the game from a save. Also, it worked okay with 1.02 patch so I guess it must be something from the new patch.

do you have the right checksum?

I was getting a different checksum, I tried reinstalling again and seems like everything works now since I have the correct one. Thanks for the help
