Crash with WIN NT 4.0

I have a problem starting the game with NT 4.0.
It goes to "Initializing Sounds" and immediately returns to Windows...
It works pretty well on my home Win 98 though.
Anybody helps?....

You have to install service pack 6 and be sure to have the lastest patch, 1.09. Which has an option to disable sound (choose the No Music icon from the EU folder in the start menu).
