Crashed

Hey,

So i was playing the new DLC, i got pretty far within the game, i bought the second lot of land on the otherside of the road, then my game started lagging, freezing and unfreezing every 2 seconds. After about 5min i was getting sick of it so i decided to move on within the game and try and ignore it, building a whole prison on my new land. Just as i was building the foundations the game decides to crash on me with the file attached.

Any explanation? Is it a DLC bug or something wrong on my end?

I've run this game for 3-4 years now with 0 crashes...

This is all in one existing prison?

Can you start and play a new one okay?

DXDIAG is a program you run from a command prompt or the Windows start menu 'run' dialog box (or 'search programs' in Windows 7 or later). After running it will open a window and start collecting info with a progress bar in the lower-left corner. When it completes click the 'save all information' button and save it to a file then attach that file here.

Please send in the game log C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Local\Introversion\Prison Architect\debug.txt

To see the AppData folder you'll need to enable View Hidden Items in File Explorer.

Hey,
So, i made a new prison for the new DLC, and played for about 2 hours, then it crashed, i can however make a new prison, yes!

I have attached the DXDIAG file, and the debug.txt file.

This is very likely a problem from mods that have not been updated to work with the new game patch yet.

Please unsubscribe from all mods in the Steam Workshop for this game, and delete the folder
C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Local\Introversion\Prison Architect\mods\

That may or may not help a prison that's already been affected by the mods, but should stop it happening again.

Then you can start subscribing to mods again, but only ones that have been updated since the patch.
