Not sure if anybody ca help me, but I purchased Cities: Skylines 2, and it constantly crashes on Windows 11.
I’ve tried running it without mods, verifying the integrity of game files, and making sure all my drivers and Windows are up to date, but I’m still unable to play for more than 10 minutes before the game just closes. Is there anyone who can offer some help? It’s extremely frustrating, and I’m regretting the purchase at this point.

Can you please provide the following:

  • The player.log
Located in \AppData\LocalLow\Colossal Order\Cities Skylines II (To see the AppData folder you’ll need to enable View Hidden Items in File Explorer)

  • A DxDiag
    • Open your Start menu, Cortana or Search
    • Type dxdiag in the search field
    • Click on the dxdiag program
    • A window called "DirectX Diagnostic Tool" should pop up now
    • Wait until the green bar at the bottom-left has disappeared
    • At the bottom right-hand side, click on "Save all information"
    • Save it to a place where you can find it easily, for example your desktop
    • Attach this file here
    • IF dxdiag.txt fails to attach here, rename it to dxdiag.log , or zip it up.
