Will it be compatible with existing ironman games? Or not like Horse Lords.

I'll understand if it isn't. It would just be useful to know that more ahead a time so I don't get invested in anything.

I think it should be, but probably not perfectly. There will pop up a warning if you try to launch with the wrong version, and we will of course provide a Steam Beta branch you can use to finish your ironman game.

I wonder what exactly these icons mean. I see likes and dislikes, but I also see religious icons and... something that looks as an apple?
Maybe they are factions? Loyalists, Disloyalists, Religious, Neutrals...?

Another thing of note there is that you now have "Advisor" positions on the Council.

I suppose another thing to thing about w.r.t. these "political parties" (if that's what they are) is whether they affect the vassal if you are playing as them. Like, what happens if you're a member of the religious party? Does it mean you must vote against free investiture?

King David of House Kendall? Good to hear my dad is moving up in the world. I look forward to my brother's inevitable attempt to install gavelkind succession and/or assassinate me.

Assuming this DLC plays like it is described (especially on the linked website), this will be a brilliant DLC and it will certainly make playing as a King feel less safe.

Vassals should be able to decide how they want to respond to war. Maybe they take the chance to make a break for freedom and declare war on their overlord. Maybe they refuse to send troops at all. Maybe they try an come to an arrangement with the invader in return for keeping power and influence. Maybe they have to be bribed by the king with promises of influence or wealth or new lands.

Those that partake willingly (or otherwise) in the wars should expect something in return. This would be an excellent, and challenging, way to keep leaders from dividing up their lands into ever smaller fiefdoms, though it might be hard to program.

Finally, even at higher authorities vassals should be able to declare private wars, but their overlord should be allowed to ask them to stop (with a variety of potential negative outcomes if they refuse).

Anything regarding the unrealistic pan-European marriages? Can you guys put some sort of road bump. Not realistic for people at the time to seek spouses across the continent when it is more convenient and tactically sound to marry locally or within the realm. Expand where you are, no sense in a Portuguese count marrying the daughter of a Russian count.

Looks like this expansion will be a must buy. Hopefully it will make realm management a lot less a matter of autopilot! I like the part where the council can expand past 5 to include "advisers", that's nifty. Really hoping this makes blobs more likely to break apart!

First day buy.

Considering using a leave day for this to record and/or stream all day. This is the most excited I've been about an expansion since... I dunno, Old Gods maybe.
