Certainly excited for it, however will it be compatible with old saves?
According to Groogy a few pages back: probably, though a few things might be a bit wonky.

Well, not really.So... that's the answer to the coalitions complains? The people were wrong about less internal conflicts![]()
So, any news on potential content pack?
Unique hats for council members would be cool.According to steam there is a content pack and a music pack.
Hopefully the content pack will bring in some new clothing/headgear. The west in particular is needing more variety. Not sure which new units will it add.

Awesome; I've been waiting for some sort of legislature or council for a long time. This is fantastic.

Maybe they want to advertise the content pack separately?Screenshots don't display anything new for councillors, so I doubt that is the case. My bet would be on italian sets, since they are the most sorely missing cultural thing(they currently use iberian portraits which is silly).
That is if we actually get new portrait stuff at all(I surely hope so!)
I hope they are as I would love to see what you guys may do with them for the AGOT mod. This looks amazing, I can't wait to look at all of these new mechanics and their applications. Hope all of this will be moddable as always!
One of the screenshots shows a new "advisor" council position. Does that position have any actual duties, or is it just a way of giving specific vassals council votes without actually making them councillors?
Because I would really appreciate a way to give specific vassals council votes without actually making them councillors.

I'm not too fond of the idea of my nitwit dukes messing up my realm laws which I take generations to build to my tastes. They're bad enough without higher crown authority, constantly starting wars with my neighbors and leaving me to fix the mess they create with all the land they conquer, upsetting the balance of power I create in my empire to keep them from having too much influence and power to challenge me.
L'État, c'est moi!
Does this mean we can get a Magna Carta like events and Parliments?
I think standard councillor with no responsibility is an advisor. But those with responsibilities are considered to have positions. One of the screenshots shows a new "advisor" council position.
