This one was totally my fault, but I thought I would mention it just because an error message would be more elegant than a CTD. Looking through the scenario directory (to find and clean up save games) I saw the eu2 directory and just assumed it was unnecessary so I deleted it just to keep things tiday (OK, bad idea - I know). When I went to export my first game, I got a CTD. Investigating a bit, I saw the directory my files was supposed to be in and put 2 and 2 together. So this isn't at all urgent as most people are likely not as stupid as I was, but it would have been nice to have gotten an error message instead of a CTD.

Considering that programmers don't except user to remove parts of the program or resources it is using, they can hardly make error messages for all cases like that.
