I often have:
- CTDs while loading a save from within the game
- CTDs while exiting a game
- a bug which does not switch back to proper graphics mode when exiting. Afterwards I cannot restart the game or use WinTV (haven't checked other progs) until reboot.
- music playing two tracks the same time

I occasionally have:
- random CTDs from the game. Seem to be more plenty the faster the game speed is set.

My system:
AMD Athlon XP 1500+
Geforce 4 Ti4200 (newest driver)
Windows 98SE
128 PCI sound

Okay, looks like you have two problems.
1)Rename the AVI floder to AVI_back, It appears that the bink player is causing a conflict with your system and this will disable it.
2) Check to see if you are using the VIA drivers, they are known to be buggy and you can change to the default windows drivers.

These step should clear up most of your CTDs

What mother board do you have that you do not run the VIA drivers?

I don't understand what you mean you do not use the AVI folder?
Are you saying that you have already renamed it or deleted it?

Also do you have any mods installed?

No, of course I haven't got mods installed, and yes, I removed the avi folder.
As for the drivers, I didn't install anything special, except the graphics driver.

You would not have had to install these drivers seperately!

And why "ofcourse" for the mod question? Lots of people have mods like EEP installed and I need to know this info if I am to help. ;)
