HI i had 2 ctds this weak 1 as Germany in may or juni 1940 and 1 as Italy also in 1940 both played with 1,3a patch and both was grand campain36 help plz.

Random CTD can be hard to track down, what were you doing when they happened?
Also let's try some standard things.
1) Make sure you have the latest patch for the game.
2) Rename the AVI folder to AVI_back
3) Set the color depth to 16BIT
4) Turn off everything in the background like E-mail/ICQ/Messenger, Virus protection and everything in the system tray beside the clock.
5) Update your Windows, update your Video card drivers and audio card drivers. Then repeat steps 1-3.

If you are paranoid, then diconect from the modem and try it.
Personally I never have had virus protection on my system, if you are safe then it is not a problem.

Lol once then i just got my broadband i did not had any protection no firewall and no virusprotection and my comp started to act funny ctds from many games and so i getted a antivriusprogram runned itr and found virus in 2000 files updated thje virus program and found another 1500 lol but i will try to just turn off modem and virusprogram.Also then i played Germany i was fighting in france and in norway at the same time in may-juni 1940 then the ctd came.As Italy i was in alliance with germany natSpain hungary bulgaria romania france where taken early oktober 39 i think after that denmark and yugoslavia where taken i had just attacked grecce and took half of it then ctd came think it was juni or july 1940.
