Custom Flags for empire?

Im currently trying to create a custom flag for my empire but im having trouble finding out what to do after you replace the .tga image.

i replaced it using gimp but the flag isnt appearing in my current game.

Deleting the flags folder in Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II should do it. If you've set a dedicated folder for your mod, delete the flags folder in there instead.
