Summary

Daimyos do not buff regional efficiency in some regions

Expected Result

When the turn starts, if a Daimyo is standing on the capital tile of a region, that region should get a +10% efficiency modifier.

Actual Result

The regional efficiency buff is only applied to three regions (see turn 154 save). It does not work for Hamburg and Nantes. It also does not work when I integrate any vassal aside from Nongoma (which is my oldest vassal).

Coincidentally, the Daimyo buff can only be applied to those regions/vassals that I already had when I adopted the Shogunate national spirit (see turn 60 save). So perhaps the timing when you acquire a vassal matters for this particular bug.

Steps to reproduce

1. Load the turn 154 save.
2. Make sure that a Daimyo is garrisoned in each regional capital. End turn.
3. Start of the next turn: Hamburg and Nantes don’t have the Daimyo buff.
4. You can also integrate a vassal and spawn in a fresh Daimyo. Only Nongoma can get the buff. There is a settler which you can use, but a newly settled (and subsequently integrated) vassal also won’t work.
5. I attached a save from turn 60 right before I picked Shogunate. I suspect that the Daimyo buff can only affect regions that were already part of your nation before a certain point, but I haven’t had the time to test this further.

Topic of Bug Entry:

Daimyo/Shogun regional buff is not properly refreshed

Check in region build view if the Daimyo buff is shown in top bar. If it is, than try to move a pop to another workplace, set him back and check if buff is applied then.
As far as i've seen this, the buff is simply not shown but calculated in the end of your turn.

Piggybacking of your thread.

I got the daimyo innovation with another 10% efficiency buff, but it is not showing up. Neither in the daimyo tool tip nor in the actual production numbers in the city.

The innovation only affects shogun. The region that shogun is garrisoned will see another 10% buff in addition to daimyo buff.

Seems like this is still bugged in the open beta (1.0.10.F) as well. The weird thing is that in my previous play through in 1.0.4.F, it worked flawlessly and I have no idea why. The one city that doesn't work was a minor nation that I conquered during the Age of Monuments, but all my other capitals seem to work fine. Spawning a second Daimyo didn't resolve it either.
