i am playing turkey. i decided to not mess around early and annexed persia by about 1520........i had a few revolts but not real bad and i was cruising thinking how the mamaluks looked tasty. i waited about 10 years to let war exhaustion go away then decided to get some quick bucks from Moldavia before annexing the mamaluks..........and ALL HELL broke loose. i was attacked by EVERYONE. at first i thought maybe good 'ol Moldavia had some secret alliances. but no that wasn't it. so i got out of the game and checked EU spy and mu BB rating was 22.....arrrrrrggggghhhhhh!!!!!!!!! now i know WHY i was attacked BUT i was under the impression that if i didn't attack europeon countries my BB rating would not go thru the roof annexing all those provinces in persia. soooooooooo could someone help me out here on the aisia-europe BB points? thanks Grudge

Total annexation outside Europe is 1 BB point per province so swallowing up Persia wasn't a good move if u want a low BB

But BB is 0 if you take provinces without total annex. So take three provinces, sue for peace, take three more, sue for peace. When it's just the capital remaining take that and annex---voila, only 1 BB point...had you taken all 10 at once you would get 10 BB points. Of course this will take you 20 years or so...

Actually it seems that annexion (even outside Europe..I just checked it with the Iroquois) is 5 BB + 1/province. So annexing the capital of Persia alone would give you 5+1 = 6 BB
