I have pretty much checked everything solution which was posted before:
"
What I have already tried with no positive result:
Checked:
  • No mods installed
  • Verifyed the game cache in Steam
  • Restarted the Steam client
  • stellaris.exe is on the exclusion list of all anti-malware or anti-virus software
  • AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition uninstalled
Installed/Uninstalled/Reinstalled:
  • clean uninstall with deleting all folders under Steam/Stellaris and Documents/Paradox Interactive and reinstall Stellaris via Steam
  • download, install and run the programs VC_redist.x64, VC_redist.x86 and directx_Jun2010_redist from
    • Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable latest supported downloads
    • Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package MFC Security Update
    • Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable Update 3 RC
    • DirectX End-User Runtimes (June 2010)
Started the game with following settings and adjustments:
Game started via Launcher
  • in borderless full screen and window mode
  • after deleting the …\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Stellaris -folder
  • with/without dlcs"
Posting my dxdiag, hoping that someone could see a solution somewhere.
I have spent days trying to make it work with no success :(

How do you know this is a DLL issue please? When you run stellaris.exe directly from File Explorer, does it mention DLLs?

Has the game ever worked on this machine?

Please attach here your Documents/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris/settings.txt and pdx_settings.txt .
From your Documents/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris/logs/ folder, attach here system.log , error.log , exceptions.log

If i try to launch the game from launcher i get the following error:
1687794204975.png

and if i try to run with stellaris.exe i get this:
1687794279139.png

I have only found the pdx_settings you have mentioned.
A few years ago, I could play the game, but after a Windows reinstall, I could no longer run it. And it has been like that since then. I download it regularly, hoping that it might work because of some patch or something, but no luck with that. So I decided to try to ask those who have more knowledge in this area than me here.

Thank you in advance!

That error is indeed most likely missing or broken DLLs, commonly visual C++.

In the Windows Control Panel uninstall VC++ 20010 AND 2015/17/19/22. There may be several instances of each.

THEN Install ALL these Microsoft modules:

And run the x86 and x64 installers there.

And run the x86 and x64 installers there.

And run the x86 and x64 installers there.

THEN run this Windows repair tool:

Good luck!
