Once Fought, Twice Paid

So, there I was, a fledgling King of Denmark, risen from lowly Countdom, and I needed money bad, my friends. The holes in my pocket would not marry, and I felt the life being sucked from me. So I took up the Pope on his offer and went crusading, as one does... I fought valiantly in Arabia and Basra and after earning a few thousand coin, I decided that was that and started to wrap up my campaign. The enemy, sensing death was near offered up money in hopes of staving off impending doom, and I saw this, and started to slow down my game. Here's the bug: as I reached "Below Normal" speed, a second offer of money for peace appeared on top; I immediately paused the game and accepted the 3500 coin (the latest offer), expecting the first offer to disappear. But! it didn't, so I thought hey, why not? I accepted the first offer too, 3800 coin. Lo and Behold I have that too, both peace offers accepted for the same foe!

Ok so I elaborated but you get the picture, the same foe offers coin twice; shouldn't the latter offer make the first offer disappear from the screen? Not that I mind being paid twice of course, but it does seem unfair. Not sure if this has been reported or not, couldn't find any mention of it in the first couple of screens.

Sounds like a diplomacy bug. Human player is not allowed to have more than one Diplomatic offer at the same time, maybe the AI is lacking this restraint.

I'm sure the auto-decline feature works with AI diplo offers. I've kept the peace offer box off to a corner for a bit and after the expiration it disappeared.

Duplicate of bug 190.

Please,

- verify first that the bug doesn't exist already in the buglist OR in the forum (using the Search function).

- only report one bug by thread.

- CTD bug needs to be reproducible, and a save available for the moderators to transmit to Paradox.

Thanks, :)
