Completion bonuses and messages.

Hi everybody,

WIN98SE, ver 1.02. In the games I have going on I do not get completion bonuses when buildings get ready. Applies to both prestige and piety.

Also when completing a monastery I got considerably less income in that province and there were no events there that hurt economy.

And messages do not appear as specified in message settings.

Is it worthwile to submit a savegame file and how is that done?

Has been reported many times already. That will be fixed in 1.03.

That is a WAD, if you look into the manual, you will see that building a church has advantages, but also some disadvantages (-5% gold).

And messages do not appear as specified in message settings.

OK to first. But AFAIR monasteries should give +5% gold, which seems correct as they were a powerhouse of many practical improvements in many economy aspects, the cistersians and benedictines particularly so. And I lost abt 35% of my income from the province in question!
Concerning messages, I specified that some should appear in box and game stop, but at best I might see them down in the log. And it`s important things like DoWs and so.

In my games this appears to actually function. I am not sure about the piety bonus from construction. But I have not experienced any problem with not getting the +5% bonus to gold

In every game I've seen so far, Monastery's just eat up gold, instead of giving any, just look at your income before and after building them... there is no 5% gain like other improvements, despite what the tooltip says.

In every game I have played they add +5%, just as noted in the tooltip.

Just verified on a save where the income of Byzantion increased from 81 to 85 with the construction of a monastery, which nicely corresponds to a 5% increase.
 
DUPLICATE / WAD for me.

Convince me it's not.
