Dynasty error

In my game as germany,i saved and then edited the dynasties file.I renamed some of the dynasties,and now ma game doesnt works anymore!I can get into the main meu,then load a game,but it stops at "reading scenario"Please help!

Check what you edited, if you accidentally missed a quote mark at the end any of them, it will hang on loading just like that.

Example:

"Villeneuve"

Right

"Villeneuve

Wrong

If you're playing with 1.04a:

You could also make a backup of your save game file somewhere other than the CK folder (maybe put it on your desktop) and then uninstall and reinstall the game. That will put a "good" dynasty file back in place. Then move your save game copy back over into the save game folder.

If you're playing with the current public beta patches:

You can just download the beta patch again, open it with Winrar, and unpack the dynasty file back over your editted one.

In either case you'd lose your edits but it should fix the problem.
