Editing save files

hi, I need to edit my save file to improve relations between france and Soviet union...I'm playing CORE and Soviets DOWs upon France in 1941..I learnt from CORE forum that I should edit relations between two so that Soviet Union won't declare war upon France(Allies)..but I don't know how to change something in save file...

Open the save file with Notepad or another simple text editor. Search (Ctrl+F)for capital = 175 (Moscow). Then search for relation, then either search or scroll down to the enter for FRA. There is an entry fro every country there.

            value = 1.5000 
            frustration = 0.0000 
            dont_want_exp_forces = no 
            }

The numbers you see are the real numbers and rounded, just change the value number to 200 (or whatever). Then save the file.

You should laways make a copy of the file before you mod it so you don't f' it up and ruin your game.

thank you very much...I have one more question if you can help, I want to change values of offmap supplies in CORE(for Italy in fact)...in save file where should I look for?
