When I installed EIC Privateer it it works fine, the only problem is, is that none of the controls work. When I go into options -> controls the game crashes. If i turn on the original game it works fine, i do not have that problem. The left mouse button clicks work on menu buttons within the game, but I cannot select my ships by clicking on them nore can I get them to move. Also none of the keybord controls work either. This is all the same within ship battles. I figure my privateer game is missing the contorl folder?

If you go to the East India Company -folder under your My Documents, is there a Privateer folder? If there is, try to destroy it and the game will create a new one. Maybe the keybinds are corrupted for some reason. You can also copy-paste the keybinds.txt from "East India Company\Config\keybinds.txt" to "East India Company\Privateer\Config\keybinds.txt". I think they are about the same.
