A simple mod to display the number of cims traveling to or occupying the selected building, counted by travel type, purpose, and occupying activity. The individual views can be toggled in the settings menu.

If you are still using Cim Route Highlighter solely for its "En-route Cims" count display, you can remove that mod and use this one. I will eventually remove the "en-route cims" count from Cim Route Highlighter due to route highlighting now being supported by the base game.

OK. This mod is very cool. I can now see what's going on with these places of work and determine how robust the simulation really is in this game.
I decided to stake out a small gas station. It has 4 employees. When I clicked on it there were no workers on the premises but 1 of 4 workers were on the way there (it was early morning).

While I waited for the one employee to show up for their day shift, I observed a customer entering the building, stayed for a second or so then went outside again, then a second or so later the customer went back inside. This repeated maybe like 10 times in a row. It's like he was unable to make a purchase (and it makes sense since there was no employee to facilitate the sale).

Eventually the one employee showed up with a taxi, went inside and the one customer that had been waiting, again enter the store, this time he stayed a bit longer, made a purchase I assume, and then left the store for good and moved on to some other activity.

OK! So, this is pretty darn good, from a simulation point of view, far better than I expected as I did not expect that sort of interaction. Well done, Paradox/CO. And this AWESOME mod allowed me to observe all this in real time. Now I shall be off to check out all sorts of interactions in the city! Thank you mattswarthout, you're awesome!

This works great for Bus stops to see how many are on the way (actively using it). Could you kindly add this for Tram stops/stands?
It doesn't seem to work for all kinds of transit stands as we get no data clicking on Tram stops. Trams are harder to figure out the best locations for cim traffic so getting this mod to work on them would be amazing.

Tram stop view should be fixed now. Also added the number of people in / awaiting public transit to the en-route counts.

Interesting. Is this a reproducible behavior or just a coincidence?

It's reproducible, it happens all the time. Maybe it was something new in the latest patch or I just never noticed it before because I had no reason to look for physical presence in the workplaces before (I did not have the ability before your mod).

could En route list how many people at the building are tourist? at least for leisure parks and signature. would also be nice for commercial buildings. might help figure out routing and improving areas for them.

What does the number of patients represnet?
Theres more patients here then on vanilla slider
---
I'm getting that too, En-route patients at specific hospital view is a lot higher at 225 than the vanilla bar which is only 25.
Even for whole city, Infoview vanilla shows total city patients = only 78 at all hospitals, sick or injured total city = 116.

The same thing happens for me. Which is correct? Big difference! I have to say though, the counts from this mod make a lot more sense than the vanlla infoview count. Like.. 30 people currently being treated at a regional hospital that can hold 500? Come on now.. Which region are you all from because I'd love to visit and experience this with my own eyes haha.
