Do you have 32bit Windows?

If you are not sure, DXDIAG is a program you run from a command prompt or the Windows start menu 'run' dialog box (or 'search programs' in Windows 7 or later). After running it will open a window and start collecting info with a progress bar in the lower-left corner. When it completes click the 'save all information' button and save it to a file then attach that file here.

yes it's a 32bit pc
I doubt that very much, there have been no 32bit computers released for something like 20 years.

However if you have 32bit Windows, AND have AT LEAST 3gb of system memory installed:

1: Open Command Prompt (it's in Accessories in Vista)
2: Set it to be in Admin mode http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc947813(v=ws.10).aspx
3: Paste this in: bcdedit /set increaseuserva 2560
4: Restart
5: If you ever need to undo: BCDEdit /deletevalue increaseuserva

That will remove 0.5gb of memory from Windows itself and give it to apps. That may affect overall performance. You should plan to move to 64bit Windows ASAP.

All the best!
